FAQ

Lead time will vary as most items are built-to-order, typically 1 week (*subject to change)

Custom multi-layer work run around 2-3 weeks.

In stock, ready-to-ship, one offs, ship within 48 hours.

At the time of order.

We ship everything via USPS.

We will help you work with USPS, but we will not refund any “lost in mail” order that shows as delivered.

If you don’t like your new holster, you may return it within 30 days, in like new condition, for a full refund, minus shipping.

Tydex Holsters products are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. If your holster fails it will be repaired or replaced at no charge unless it appears to have been deliberately destroyed. So if you decide to cut your holster apart with a Dremel and then send it back, it won’t be covered.

Multi-Layered custom work Lifetime Limited Warranty only covers any issues with the holster functions. Any design elements that may have been damaged, but don’t necessarily affect fit and function, are not covered. [But this is rare as we usually construct robust design elements as part of the complete build.]

If it’s not listed on the website, then it’s not available for sale. We no longer schedule any appointments for in-person custom holsters, but would be happy to make a referral to another maker who may be able to help you, depending on the details of what you’re looking for. Tydex Holsters does not hold an FFL. DO NOT SHIP US YOUR FIREARM.

If it’s not on the website I don’t offer it. I do not press with foam and do not offer any custom setups not listed on the website.

We work hard to provide excellent gear at a fair price for all of our clients. To keep the ordering process as simple as possible, pricing is the same for everyone.

No. We process orders in the order they were received. The only exception to this is warranty work, which gets bumped to the front of the line.

Any specialty print, carbon fiber, or camos, selected as a back type selection will face inward toward the gun as a standard build.

*please note* due to the limited viewing space, not all specialty prints are intended to go on the back selection. And although effort is made to ensure its viewable, there is no guarantee of a particular placement.
